The mighty Symphony No. 9 by Beethoven opens our season with tenor and Louisiana native Paul Groves, soprano Sarah Rees, GRAMMY-Award winning mezzo-soprano Michelle DeYoung, bass-baritone Dennis Jesse and the Centenary College Choir, Cane River Singers, FUMCS Chamber Choir and Prísma Vocal Ensemble. Mr. Groves and Ms. DeYoung kick off the evening with arias and duets, including Una furtiva lagrima and O sole mio.
