2020 Gala: Party Like its the Roaring 20s

*UPDATE – March 12, 2020*

SSO’s Gala is NOT going forward tonight

After multiple conversations, and in response to significant concerns expressed by various constituents, we regret to inform you that we will NOT be holding the Gala event this evening as originally planned. The Gala is a key fundraising event for the SSO, but our primary goal is always for attendees to have a safe and fun evening with us.

Based on the information provided by the Governor’s Office, the Louisiana Department of Health, and the CDC, we ultimately were not certain that the contingency measures that we had in place could provide a completely safe environment for our wonderful friends, patrons, and donors at the event.

The planning committee will convene in the coming days to discuss next steps. We thank you for your understanding and patience at this time. We urge all of you to be safe.
