Oct. 22 – Free Family Concert: Spooky Symphony

Join us for a Fall celebration with Halloween and other well-known tunes, in partnership with the Shreveport Regional Arts Council. Enjoy a free outdoor concert designed for all ages!

Family-friendly vendors & activities start at 2 PM including:

  • Hands-On Make and Take Art Activities
  • Costume Parade! Dress up, and show off onstage.
  • Food Trucks and Arts Market
  • Face Painting and Balloon Sculpting

Bring lawn chairs, blankets and coolers, or visit our food trucks.

  • Bedřich Smetana’s “Dance of the Comedians” from The Bartered Bride
  • Hans Zimmer’s “Pirates of the Caribbean” (arranged by Ted Rickets)
  • Vic Mizzy’s “The Addams Family Theme” (arranged by Johnnie Vinson)
  • Danny Elfman’s “This is Halloween” from The Nightmare Before Christmas (arranged by Kazik)
  • Ray Parker Jr.’s “Ghostbusters” (arranged by Bill Holcombe)

Join us for a Sunday afternoon filled with musical magic and Halloween fun at Caddo Common Park on October 22 from 2 PM to 4 PM. In the event of inclement weather, the concert and activities will be held at the RiverView Theater, 600 Clyde Fant, starting at 2 pm.

“Spooky Symphony” is presented by the Shreveport Regional Arts Council and the Shreveport Symphony. The Symphony‘s performance is made possible by the generous sponsorship of The Community Foundation of North Louisiana through the William C. Woolf Fund and is supported in part by a grant from the Shreveport Regional Arts Council with funds from the National Endowment for the Arts.
